‘Jathi Ratnalu’ was a huge money-spinner at the box office. The relatively low-budgeted comic drama went on to collect nearly Rs 30 crore. The film did wonders to the careers of its lead hero Naveen Polishetty, the director Anurag and the production house.
But despite charming the youngsters and gaining popularity, the film’s lead actress Faria Abdullah is struggling to snatch new offers. Her name was speculated in Ravi Teja’s recently launched film but Divyansha Kaushik grabbed it.
The latest is being heard that Faria Abdullah is being considered as the heroine opposite Manchu Vishnu.
Manchu Vishnu and director Sreenu Vaitla are teaming up again to make a sequel to their blockbuster, ‘Dhee’. Titled ‘D & D’, the film was announced last year. The regular shoot is all set to commence shortly.
The rumor is that Faria Abdullah may grab this film. But we have to wait for the official confirmation.
