You can’t help but admire his confidence when Boyapati Srinu speaks. Ahead of the release of ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ on August 11, he says that it will touch every heart.
“This film is set in the backdrop of beautiful family emotions. There is an emotional love story at the core. I am sure that ‘JJN’ will touch you and you will wish that you had a son/brother like the hero (Bellamkonda Srinivas) in your family,” he says.
“Like all my films, ‘JJN’ too drives home a message. ‘Kashtalu vacchinappudu premanu ne vodalnu’, says the hero. The line captures the message,” Boyapati notes.
Saying that action in his films is always wedded to the underlying emotions, the star director says that the “high budget” was warranted. “My distributors/buyers have certain expectations from my movies. I can’t fail them,” he says, justifying the budget.
About his next movies, he says that only Balakrishna’s film is fixed as of now. It will go on the floors in May or June next year.
Are movies with Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu on the anvil? “I have the stories ready. With Mahesh Babu, it will be an entirely new genre. It’s true that I have written an idea for Akhil,” he says. He will work with Chiru and Mahesh as and when their dates permit.
