‘Jigarthanda DoubleX’ teaser is out
Karthik Subbaraj’s “Jigarthanda” was a smash hit in Tamilnadu. Harish Shankar remade the film as “Gaddhalakonda Ganesh” in Telugu. The sequel to “Jigarthanda” has now been completed and will be released simultaneously in three languages: Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
Is this a Pan-Indian movie? “No, it’s a Pandyaa Western,” the makers proudly declare.
In this sequel, Raghava Lawrence plays the gangster while SJ Suryah plays the filmmaker. The teaser with little dialogue makes an impact.
“Jigarthanda DoubleX” has music by Santhosh Narayanan of “Dasara” fame.It is scheduled for release for Diwali festival.
