Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine pair up with Ravi Teja

Kajal Aggarwal has signed another film in Telugu. She will be pairing up with Ravi Teja in his new film titled ‘Kanakadurga’, which is remake of Vijay starrer Tamil blockbuster ‘Theri’.

Kajal and Ravi Teja were earlier seen together in ‘Saarochcharu’ and ‘Veera’, both were duds at the box-office.

The movie will also feature Catherine Tresa as another female lead. Set in the backdrop of Vijayawada city, the movie will have Ravi Teja playing the role of a cop. Directed by Santosh Srinivas of ‘Kandireega’ fame, it is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

‘Theri’, directed by Atlee, was also dubbed into Telugu as ‘Police’. The film starred Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. ‘Kanakadurga’ will start rolling shortly.
