The Hindi versi on of “Kalki 2898 AD” grossed more than Rs 22.5 crore (nett) in India on its first day. It was an impressive debut. But what surprised everyone was the second day collection.
The film collected approximately the same amount on the second day. That means the film is not only doing well, but it is expected to gain even more on Saturday and Sunday.
Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone starred in “Kalki 2898 AD”. Prabhas has already dominated the North Indian market with his previous films. The latest sci-fi thriller performs similarly. The film received positive ratings and reviews from Hindi film critics and the media. Reflecting the same trend, the film is performing well in North Indian multiplexes.
However, the film is underperforming in North Indian B and C centers, just as it is in Telugu states.
Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki 2898 AD” received praise for his attempt and grand visuals, but it also received criticism for its lengthy runtime and poor music.
