Kalyana Chakravarthy returns to films after 22 years

Kalyana Chakravarthy, son of veteran producer N. Trivikrama Rao, is all set to make a strong comeback after more than two decades. Known for his roles in the late 1980s and early 1990s, he featured in popular Telugu films such as Talambaralu and Lankeswarudu.

His last appearance was in 2003’s Kabir Das, in which he portrayed Lord Sriram.

Now, after 22 years, Kalyana Chakravarthy is returning to the big screen with “Champion.” He plays an important character named Raji Reddy in the upcoming period sports drama.

Starring Roshan Meka in the lead role, “Champion” also marks Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan’s Telugu debut. Directed by Pradeep Advaitam, the film focuses on the inspiring journey of a football player from the Secunderabad region.

The film is slated for a Christmas 2025 release, and the makers unveiled Kalyana Chakravarthy’s look from the film today, generating excitement among fans.
