Kamal Haasan announces his party
Kamal Haasan today announced his party at a huge public meeting in Madhurai. His party’s name is Makkal Needhi Maiyam (MNM).
He said his party has long term goals. “This is not a one day thing. This is a long term goal,” he announced.
It was blockbuster launch. Thousands of people thronged the auditorium. He also unveiled his party’s flag and revealed the agenda.
His party’s flag has a white background with a circle of six joined human hands and a big black star that has another smaller white star within it. “I am not leader, I came from the people, I am your (people) representative,” he said.
