Kannada actor-director Kashinath passes away

Kannada film actor-director Kashinath is no more. He breathed his last in Bangalore today. Kashinath was being treated for cancer at the Sri Shankara Hospital. 

The actor was known to 80’s and90’s Telugu audiences with his dubbed movies. He shot to fame with ‘Aparachita’ and ‘Anubhava’ which was dubbed in Telugu as ‘Anubhavam’.

Most of his dubbed movies had the theme of sex and young temptations. Films like Pogarubothu Pellam (Ajagajantara in Kannada), Vinta Sobhanam, Bhulokamlo Rambha Urvashi Menaka…were known to Telugu audiences. Actor Upendra was his former associate.
