“Mirai” is gearing up to be the next big pan-Indian spectacle from Telugu cinema. Starring Teja Sajja as “Super Yodha,” a superhero, the film comes on the heels of his pan-India success Hanu Man. With this project, the young actor aims to further expand his market.
Bollywood’s top filmmaker Karan Johar is presenting the film in Hindi through his distribution company. Promoting “Mirai” in Mumbai today, Karan said he was blown away by the film’s world-building and gripping narration.
Blending mythology with superhero elements, Mirai features Lord Sriram’s character in a crucial role. While rumors suggested that Mahesh Babu’s AI-generated look was used for Lord Sriram, Teja Sajja has clarified that they are untrue.
Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film also stars Manchu Manoj as the antagonist and Ritika Nayak as the female lead. Mirai is set for a grand release on September 12 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
