Karthi scores a hit finally

Karthi has finally scored a hit with his dubbed movie. Though he got a hit with ‘Oopiri’, it was straight Telugu film. In the beginning of his career, he gave hits like ‘Awaara’ ‘Naa Peru Siva’, etc. Later his dubbed movies didn’t make much impact at Telugu box-office. His recent Mani Ratnam flick ‘Cheliya’ was a disaster.
 
In this scenario, ‘Khakee’ released with low expectations. Surprisingly, the film has emerged as a good hit. It performed well in B and C centers. He also won good appreciation for the role.
