Keerthy Suresh looking apt as Savitri

Many wondered how would Keerthy Suresh fit in the role of legendary actress Savitri. She is playing title role in director Naga Ashwin’s ‘Mahanati’, a biopic on Savitri, who is considered as Mahanati (Great Actress). A leaked pic from the movie’s sets is doing rounds on social media. Going by the photo, we can safely say the director took right decision regarding casting.  

With the right makeup, Keerthy Suresh seems to have many resemblances to the younger Savitri. Currently shoot is progressing in Hyderabad. The director is now filming the scenes on Keerthy about the early career of Savitri. 

The film also stars Samantha, Vijay Devarakonda and Dulquer Salman in the key roles. Ashwini Dutt is producing the film on Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema.
