‘Chupulatho Guchi Guchi Champake” was one of the most popular numbers composed by late music director Chakri. It was composed of Ravi Teja and Rakshita starrer Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Idiot’.
Incidentally, the tune was copied from Mika Singh’s pop song ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’.
Twenty years later this tune has now got a remix version. Kiara Advani’s upcoming film, Indoo Ki Jawani, has this remix version sung by Mika Singh and Asees Kaur. Mika Singh has been credited as the original composer.
Kiara Advani is playing the title role in this Hindi film. This is her first masala Hindi song.
