Koratala: Acharya may not release this year

Director Koratala Siva has put an end to all the speculations by stating the fact that his upcoming movie ‘Acharya’ may not make it to theaters due to delay in production. With the lockdown period going on, he is doubtful that he could pull off the movie’s release this year.

‘Acharya’ featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan has completed a mere 40 percent of the filming. Finding a release date for the movie has now become tough.

‘Acharya’ is the fifth movie in his career after ‘Janata Garage’, ‘Srimanthudu’, ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ and ‘Mirchi’. The film has Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead. Heroine for Ram Charan has not yet been fixed. Mani Sharma has given the music. Regina Cassandra has wrapped up an item song in the film.
