Lakshmi Manchu recalls casting couch experience

We all know about the menace of the casting couch in the film industry. Most newcomers go through exploitation. But we assume that star kids don’t face such experiences. But actress Lakshmi Manchu reveals she was caught in a similar situation.

She said she faced such situations confidently.

“Being a daughter of Mohan Babu, you may think that I had a smooth start in the film industry. But the fact is that I, too, faced people asking me sexual favors and body shaming,” she revealed. She said women should be prepared to deal with all these obstacles confidently.

She asks women to tackle them cleverly.

Lakshmi Manchu is currently acting in a Malayalam film and a Telugu film with her father Mohan Babu.
