Lawrence takes up Laxmmi Bomb again

For the uninitiated, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is the Hindi remake of the 2011 horror-comedy ‘Kanchana’. Akshay Kumar is the hero and Kiara Advani is the heroine.

The news is that Lawrence has patched up with the film’s producers and has decided to wield the megaphone after putting aside sour differences that cropped up recently.

Last month, the film’s first look was unveiled without keeping Lawrence in the loop. The director was shocked. Same night, he told the world through Twitter that he would not direct the movie. He said it was nothing but disrespecting him. “No director should have this kind of situation,” he said.

But Akshay Kumar didn’t give up. He made efforts in the background to calm down Lawrence. Due to his intervention, Lawrence is back on board. “Yes, I will be directing the Hindi remake,” he said today.
