Leave masks to docs, wear kerchief: Vijay Deverakonda

A lot has been written about why Vijay Deverakonda is keeping silent during this lockdown period. While the majority of Tollywood stars had generously contributed to the relief funds and corona crisis charity, he didn’t respond.

After a long gap, Vijay Deverakonda has tweeted asking people to wear handkerchiefs or scarves as the mask to protect from the coronavirus outbreak. Don’t use masks as there is a huge shortage in the market. The frontline fighters like doctors and nurses need these masks. It is time that we restrain from buying masks and use clothes as protective gear is the message he’s conveying. 

Vijay Deverakonda also shared his photo wearing the cloth mask. “My loves, Hope you are all staying safe. Cloth face covering will help slow disease spread. Leave the medical masks for doctors and instead Use a handkerchief Use a scarf or Use your mom’s Chunni. Cover your face, stay safe,” he tweeted.

Vijay Deverakonda has a multi-lingual film that is being directed by Puri Jagannadh on the sets. He has also signed Shiva Nirvana’s film for producer Dil Raju.
