Liger to resume its shoot in Mumbai only

Contrary to the perception, director Puri Jagannadh is going to resume the shoot of ‘Liger’ in Mumbai only. Bollywood filmmakers have shifted their shootings from Mumbai to Hyderabad after the COVID-19 pandemic. But Puri Jagannadh will resume the shoot in Mumbai instead of Hyderabad.

‘Liger’ featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday is a boxing thriller. Bollywood’s leading producer Karan Johar is one of the producers of this sports drama. The film’s story is set in Mumbai.

Hence, Puri Jagannadh wants to film in Mumbai’s real locations. It is expected the film starts rolling in the second week of February. The film’s shoot was stopped in March last year when the lockdown was imposed.
