Locked: Anil Ravipudi narrates final script to Megastar

Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Anil Ravipudi are officially joining forces for the first time. While news of their collaboration has been circulating for a while, the project was officially locked today.

Sharing his excitement, Anil Ravipudi took to social media to announce that he narrated the final script to Chiranjeevi, who thoroughly enjoyed it. “He loved and enjoyed it thoroughly,” Anil Ravipudi wrote.

The film’s protagonist will be named Shankar Varaprasad, a nod to Chiranjeevi’s original name, Konidela Siva Shankara Varaprasad.

Though the film’s official title is yet to be revealed, it is currently being referred to with the hashtag #ChiruAnil. The project will be jointly produced by Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens and Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita on her Goldbox Entertainment banner.

The film is set to go on floors soon and is slated for a grand Sankranthi 2026 release.

Anil Ravipudi, known for his consistent box-office success, recently delivered a blockbuster with Sankranthiki Vastunam, starring Venkatesh Daggubati, marking a career-high for both the actor and the director.
