Rajinikanth’s “Vettaiyan” will debut in theaters worldwide in all five languages on October 10, 2024. However, some social media groups voiced objections to the Tamil title for the Telugu version prior to its release. Therefore, Lyca Productions, the leading production house behind the film, has clarified its decision to name the Telugu version with a Tamil title.
In the statement, the production house said that initially, “Vetagadu” was considered the title for the Telugu version, but it was not available since it was registered by another producer.
“We were impelled to adopt the uniform title “VETTAIYAN The Hunter” for all dubbed versions in which the film is being released, ensuring to maintain consistency and invariability in the title,” the team further clarified.
The production humbly requested the Telugu people to lend their unwavering support, cooperation, and understanding.
“Vettaiyan” has an ensemble cast of Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana, Manju Warrier, and Fahadh Faasil.
