Popular poet and lyricist Guda Anjaiah is no more. He was popular for songs like “Ee Vooru Manadira Ee Nela Manadira”, “Bhadram Koduko”, etc. Although he wrote songs for social causes and agitations, director R Narayana Murthy used them in his films. They became quite popular.
Born in Adilabad district in 1955, Guda Anjaiah’s song ‘Ee Ooru Manadira” is said to have translated in 16 languages. He was leading life as pharmacist in Hyderabad. He died of illness. Directors Dasari, Narayana Murthy and Telangana CM KCR offered condolences to their family members.
