‘Mahanati’, the biopic on legendary actress Savitri, went on to become one of highest grossing movies this year. The film also won rave reviews. It has now got selected for Panorama section at 49th International Film Festival of India, 2018.
The Feature Film jury of thirteen members that was headed by acclaimed film director and screenwriter Rahul Rawail has selected 12 movies for Panorama, 4 movies for mainstream Panorama.
The four mainstream films are ‘Mahanati’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Raazi’ and ‘Padmavaat’. From Telugu, ‘Mahanti’ is the only film that got selected.
