Mahesh Babu clinches a good deal

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarlieru Neekevvaru’ is in the last leg of its shoot. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the action entertainer is currently canning key scenes in Kerala. On the other hand, the film’s non-theatrical business is being closed. The film’s Hindi dubbing and satellite rights were sold for Rs 15 Cr, which is an impressive amount considering the fact that the market has been bad of late. 

This amount of Rs 15 Cr will directly go into the account of Mahesh Babu. It must be recalled that Mahesh Babu has not taken remuneration for ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ since he was made as a production partner. As part of the deal, Mahesh Babu will get Hindi dubbing rights, digital and satellite rights of all language versions. Whatever the money that comes by selling these rights would go to Mahesh Babu’s account as a production partner.

The theatrical revenue will go to producer Anil Sunkara. A part of this share will also go to another production partner Dil Raju. ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ is scheduled for Sankranthi 2020 release. The film has generated a great buzz.

‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ has Rashmika as the main heroine. Vijayashanti is making a comeback with this film. Devi Sri Prasad is providing the music.
