Mahesh Babu takes a break from Rajamouli’s Varanasi, heads to France

ahesh Babu has taken a brief break from the shooting of S.S. Rajamouli’s much-awaited globe-trotting action adventure, tentatively titled “Varanasi.”

The superstar, who plays the warrior Rudhra in the film, has been working on the project with remarkable dedication alongside co-stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Unlike his usual routine of taking an extended summer vacation every year, Mahesh Babu largely stayed focused on the film’s demanding schedules this season.

With Rajamouli recently pausing the current shooting schedule, Mahesh Babu seized the opportunity for a short family getaway. The actor was spotted at the airport leaving for France along with his wife Namrata Shirodkar and their children, Gautam and Sitara.

Videos of the family making their way through the airport have surfaced on social media, with fans delighted to see the actor enjoying some downtime after months of intensive work.

France marks a late summer holiday for Mahesh Babu, who is known for taking annual overseas vacations between film schedules. However, the commitments of Rajamouli’s ambitious project meant that this year’s break arrived much later than usual.

The actor is expected to return in July and join the next shooting schedule of the film.
