Naga Chaitanya and Samantha starrer ‘Majili’ has generated positive buzz thanks to its stunning trailer. The trailer that got released on Sunday has received universal encouraging response.
The film directed by Shiva Nirvana of ‘Ninnu Kori’ fame is a love story in the backdrop of Vizag. The movie did whopping Rs 15 Cr theatrical pre-release business in Telugu states. Since Naga Chaitanya’s recent films bombed at the box-office, trade pundits expected this film would not get many takers. Interestingly, it did Rs 15 Cr pre-release business. In overseas and other markets, the film reportedly fetched another Rs 3 Cr.
Music not becoming rage is a big minus to the film. However, it has advantage of being the first major Telugu film this summer season.
