Ravi Teja’s much-awaited cop drama “Mass Jathara” has faced multiple postponements, and its release has once again been pushed back. The film, which was earlier scheduled to hit theaters on August 27, will not be arriving on that date.
Confirming the delay, the production house Sithara Entertainments assured that the team is working hard to deliver the best possible output and promised that the wait will be worth it.
The makers clarified that the recent strike by cine workers prevented the film from being ready for its original release date. They stated that instead of rushing through post-production, the team chose to take extra time to ensure the film is presented at its finest.
Their focus, they added, is on delivering a grand and immersive cinematic experience worthy of the audience’s expectations.
Ravi Teja dons the khaki once again in “Mass Jathara,” directed by debutant Bhanu Bogavarapu. The film features Sreeleela as the female lead, with music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
For Ravi Teja, this project carries high stakes as his recent outings at the box office have underperformed. Producer Naga Vamsi, too, is looking to bounce back after facing criticism and trolling for his comments on recent flops like “War 2” and “Kingdom.” He has asserted that he remains unfazed by negativity and is determined to deliver a strong film.
With both hero and producer aiming for a much-needed hit, the Mass Jathara team is said to be putting in extra effort to ensure a solid product.
