Malicious propaganda doesn’t affect me: Dhanush

Actor Dhanush has dismissed recent rumors and negative publicity surrounding him and his upcoming film, stating that such calculated propaganda by vested interests doesn’t affect him. “No one can bring me down,” he declared, adding that his loyal fan base will handle any negativity thrown his way.

Dhanush made these remarks during the promotional event of “Kuberaa” held in Chennai on Sunday, while responding to indirect comments made by his competitors in the Tamil film industry.

Meanwhile, director Sekhar Kammula praised Dhanush’s performance in “Kuberaa,” saying no one else could have brought the protagonist he envisioned to life. He went on to express hope that Dhanush would earn another National Award for his role.

Kuberaa is a socio-political thriller featuring Dhanush in the lead, with Nagarjuna playing a pivotal role and Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The film is set to hit theaters on June 20, 2025.
