‘Mana Madras Kosam’ reaches a lakh familes

Rana Daggubati and Navdeep led initiative #ManaMadrasKosam that has the backing of Allu Arjun, Manoj Manchu, Kajal Aggarwal, Tamanna, Lakshmi Manchu, Madhu Shalini and many other stars,  have been working 24×7 to ensure that they meet the requests pouring from Chennai for essential food, medicine and clothes.

Rana Daggubati, who is stationed at Rama Naidu Studios throughout the day and night, says, “We are trying our best to meet their requests , 8 trucks loaded with essential items have already reached several homes in Chennai from north to south through our partner’s organization.  Actors like Dhanush, Arya and many other stars along with NGOs are working relentlessly to serve flood victims in Chennai. We are overwhelmed by citizens support for the cause and extremely happy with the contributions that have come in till now” And many more wants to contribute and there have been lot of logistic challenges for pick up and drop of individual material contributions, we have now requested Ola and they have come forward to support at the right opportune moment” Rana Daggubati says.

Anyone who wants to contribute materials and do not have time to drive down to Ramanaidu studio can give a missed call to 040-39594300 or 040-30911185, on behalf of ManMadrasKosam Ola cabs will collect materials directly from the caller.

The contributor can make a flood relief kit of their own too with the following item in a box and contribute. Each kit consists of –2 Bed Sheets, 2 Towels,1 Saree,1 Dhothi, 1 Kerosine Pump Stove, Vessel with Lid,Spatula (Karandi), 2 Metal glass, 2 plates, Kitchen Masala kit 200 gms – turmeric, corriander, chilli and sambar, Toiletries kit – 2 soaps, tooth powder,  Salt and sugar 200 gms each, Rice – 3 kgs, Thoor dhal – 500 gms, Tea 100 gms, Skimmed milk powder – 250 gms,  Dry red chillies – 50 gms, Wheat Rava – 500 gms, Cooking oil – 200 ml, 2 Candles with match box,Sanitary napkin pkt with 2 panties, Sleeping Mat, 1 Mosquito coil packet, Cooking utensils.
