Mani Ratnam has put an end to speculation surrounding his next project. He denied reports that he is set to direct a romantic film featuring Naveen Polishetty and Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth.
The rumors, which had been circulating widely on social media, suggested that Ratnam was planning a new-age love story.
During a recent promotional event for “Thug Life” in Delhi, Ratnam addressed the buzz directly, stating, “Not at all. Even that is news to me. I have no clue what they are talking about.”
“I’m exploring a couple of ideas, but nothing is confirmed yet,” he added, putting the rumors to rest.
