Mani Ratnam has commenced the pre-production for his next movie which is going to be a multi-starrer with Simbu playing the main lead. The great director wants a Telugu star for this big movie and has approached Nani but it has not worked out.
Rumors came that Mani recently approached Vijay Devarakonda for the same role. But truth is that Mani Ratnam is not taking any Telugu star in this multi-starrer movie. He is planning a love story with Vijay Devarakonda next year. Mani was bowled over by the performance of Vijay D in ‘Arjun Reddy’.
Vijay Devarakonda is now gearing up to start Geetha Arts production that is being directed by Parasuram.
