Megastar praises Thaman’s ‘positive’ approach

Megastar Chiranjeevi turned to social media to praise music composer Thaman for calling out online harmful habits that are destroying Telugu cinema. Thaman, addressing at the ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ event, stated that social media fan fights, as well as nasty tags and trolls, are hurting the business.

Here’s what Thaman stated: “While professionals and celebrities from other film industries praise our Telugu cinema’s rapid growth and film quality, some of our audiences engage in fan fights and pollute the environment.”

Chiranjeevi praised Thaman’s speech, saying it had touched his heart.

In his post, Megastar stated that words may both inspire and destroy. Choose what you want to do, he advised. Chiranjeevi also stated that Thaman’s statements are insightful and positive.

Thaman had composed music for both movies – Daaku Maharaaj and Game Changer, which were released in theaters during the Sankranthi 2025 festival.
