Mirai: Advance ticket sales soar in India and North America

All systems are go for the release of “Mirai”, which premieres in North America in just a few hours and is scheduled for theatrical release in India at 8 AM on September 12. The advance ticket sales are exceptional, reflecting the strong buzz surrounding the film.

In India, over one lakh tickets have already been sold through the booking platform BookMyShow. In North America, advance sales have crossed $200k, and by the time the premiere shows begin, the film is expected to gross close to $250,000.

Meanwhile, the special preview shows held in Mumbai for Bollywood media and celebrities received an excellent response. Social media is abuzz with positive posts, with many stating that the film lives up to expectations.

Starring Teja Sajja as the Super Yodha and Ritika Nayak as the heroine, who describes her role as a “monk-like character,” “Mirai” blends mythology with fantasy. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, the film is shaping up to be a major event this season.
