‘Mr Bachchan’ wraps its Tamilandu schedule

Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar have teamed up for “Mr. Bachchan,” their second collaboration since “Mirapakay” (2011). Harish Shankar took to social media today to inform fans that they had completed a significant portion of shooting in the recently concluded schedule.

Last month, the team went to Karaikudi, a scenic village in Tamil Nadu, to film some important sequences. He thanked his cinematographer, Ayananka Bose, and hero, Ravi Teja, for working tirelessly to complete this major portion.

“Successfully completed another beautiful schedule of  Mr.Bachchan…..  cant thank enough to @DoP_Bose for making it happen and Million thanks to MassMaharaaj for working round the clock,” he posted on X.com.

In “Mr. Bachchan,” Ravi Teja plays an income tax officer. The film is based on the 2018 Hindi blockbuster “Raid,” but Harish Shankar is making significant changes and positioning it as a commercial entertainer that will appeal to Telugu audiences.

Bhagyashri Borse, a new heroine, is paired with Ravi Teja in the film.
