My ambition was to become an actor: Roshan Kanakala

Roshan Kanakala, the son of renowned actors Rajeev and Suma Kanakala, makes his acting debut in “Bubblegum.” The youthful drama, directed by Ravikanth Perepu, will be released on December 29.

“I’ve wanted to be an actor since I was a child. There was always a desire to play the lead in a film. It was my wish, not my parents’, and I’m delighted I was able to accomplish it with this film,” Roshan Kanakala said.

“This story reflects today’s youth, and it was easy for me to connect with. I have great faith in the film. We are very confident that the content will resonate with the target audiences,” he said.

He thanked Megastar Chiranjeevi and Akkineni Nagarjuna for their encouragement.

“My mother and father watched the movie. According to Mom, Dad cried in several scenes. My father praised me and said, “Well done.” Mom enjoyed the film as well,” he said.
