Naga Chaitanya gets highest first week numbers

‘Majili’ has completed its first week run on a glorious note and has successfully entered into second week. The film has collected about Rs 24.5 Cr (share) in its first week worldwide. In Naga Chaitanya’s career, this is all-time record.

Being the first release this summer season and family audiences liking the emotional sequences in the second half are the main reasons for the movie posting such great numbers. Though storyline and presentation is quite old-fashioned, it has clicked at the box-office.

It continued its good run throughout the first week. It most likely will continue draw the audiences next week as well as it faces completion from only one movie.

Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the Chaitanya and Samantha starrer is yet to reach one-million mark in USA. It has to perform strongly this weekend to achieve this milestone in US.
