The producers of “Nagabandham – The Secret Treasure” aka “Nagabandham” have revealed that their confidence in the film’s content encouraged them to invest more than Rs 110 crore in the ambitious mythological adventure.
Speaking at a press conference, producers Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy said they entered the film industry after successfully exiting the software business. Their association with director Abhishek Nama began after being introduced to his script, which immediately impressed them with its scale and vision.
Despite featuring upcoming actor Virat Karna in the lead and new director Abhishek Nama at the helm, the producers said they never hesitated over the budget. They believed the larger-than-life mythological story demanded grand execution and were convinced by the extensive pre-production work done by the director. They also praised Virat Karna’s dedication and physical transformation for the role.
The producers expressed satisfaction with the final output, stating that every rupee spent is visible on screen. According to them, the film has exceeded expectations visually and promises audiences a spectacular theatrical experience.
For now, their complete focus remains on the release of Nagabandham, after which they plan to explore more projects featuring fresh and diverse content.
Nagabandham features Nabha Natesh, Iswarya Menon and Daksha Nagarkar as the female lead, and is set to hit theaters on July 3rd, 2026.
