“HIT 3” has been generating tremendous buzz following the release of its riveting trailer. While much of the hype is attributed to the lead star Nani, the film’s director, Sailesh Kolanu, is also back in the spotlight.
Sailesh Kolanupreviously directed the first two installments of the HIT franchise. However, Sailesh’s last film, Saindhav, starring Venkatesh, was a major flop, drawing heavy criticism for its lackluster narration. This raised questions about whether the director could deliver compelling stories outside the HIT series. Despite the setback, he reportedly managed to impress veteran actor Akkineni Nagarjuna with a new script.
That said, sources indicate Nagarjuna will make a final decision only after seeing the outcome of “HIT 3,” which releases in theaters tomorrow.
Nagarjuna has yet to announce his next full-fledged film. He will next be seen in special roles in pan-Indian projects like Sekhar Kammula and Dhanush’s “Kuberaa,” and Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Coolie.”
