Nagarjuna to stop hosting Bigg Boss Telugu?

Akkineni Nagarjuna has become synonymous with the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu, as he has been hosting for the past six years.

Nagarjuna became the host of Bigg Boss Telugu from the third season, following NTR, who hosted the first season, and Nani, who anchored the second season.

Nagarjuna has shaped the show’s character over the years. Alongside hosting the broadcast edition, he also hosted the OTT version, Bigg Boss Telugu NonStop.

However, the preceding season of Bigg Boss Telugu 8 failed to generate the expected passion and interest, coupled with reports of Nagarjuna’s exhaustion from overseeing consecutive seasons, prompting the veteran actor to indicate a wish to depart from the show.

He is now planning to take up a new film where he plays the lead role. After “Naa Saami Ranga,” which was released during Sankranthi 2024, he didn’t act in any film as the lead hero. He is currently acting in “Coolie” and “Kubera” in the supporting roles.

Recently, Kamal Haasan stopped hosting Tamil “Bigg Boss” to prioritize his acting career. Will Nagarjuna follow the same path? We have to wait and see whether Nagarjuna really discontinues hosting the show or returns with new enthusiasm.
