Nandita Das starts shooting for Virata Parvam

Nandita Das has stepped in the place of Tabu in Rana and Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Virata Parvam’. Tabu has walked out of this project as the movie’s shoot is getting delayed and her dates are being wasted. Rana is undergoing treatment for his kidney ailment in the USA. Tabu is a busy artist, so she walked out of this project.
 
The makers then have approached Nandita Das and she readily signed this film. She has joined the sets and is now shooting for the movie in Hyderabad. However, Nandita Das says she is not replacing anyone. “Too much speculation! I am doing the film for the script, the director’s vision and the role. Had no idea who I was replacing and how does it matter! In Hyderabad, starting to shoot today. Nervous about speaking Telugu! Wish me luck pls,” she tweeted.
 
Nandita earlier had done a Telugu film named ‘Kamlee’. This is her second movie. Director Venu Udugula of ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’ is directing ‘Virata Parvam’. He is presently canning sequences that don’t require the presence of Rana. Sai Pallavi is the heroine of this movie.
