The Supreme Court has today made it mandatory to play the National anthem before the screening of a movie. It also said that when the anthem will be played, everyone should stand and the flag will be shown on the screen. The National Anthem will not be commercially exploited or dramatized. There was a practise of showing the National Anthem after every film in 1960’s, but during the 90’s this practise was ignored.
