National film awards for year 2018 were scheduled to be announced today. However, the announcement has been postponed. The awards will be announced after the completion of Lok Sabha polls 2019. ‘Since the model of conduct in force, it has been decided to declare the awards after the election process is over and MCC concludes,” the Unction Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said in a statement.
