Nayanthara takes the first jab of the COVID vaccine

Actress Nayanthara on Tuesday received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Nayanthara’s team took to social media and updated her fans about the same.

The 36-year-old actress went to Kumaran hospital in Chennai and took the first jab.

Many Tamil film stars have got vaccination in the recent past. Tamilnadu is one of the few states in India that has begun vaccination for the 18-44 age group as well. In Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the state governments differed the vaccination for this age group and are giving vaccinations to those who have crossed 45 years.

Nayanthara is currently acting opposite Rajnikanth in ‘Annaatthe’ and is also playing one of the lead roles in her husband-to-be Vignesh Shivan’s directorial.
