Nani’s ‘Nenu Local’ took the box-office by storm. The film completed its first week run on superb note but it has slowed down in USA in its second week.
The film now stands at about $870k by end of 2nd Friday. The movie needs another 130k dollars to reach the coveted one million dollars mark. It is another matter that even if it touches one million-mark, the distributor will only see marginal returns on this project. It must be noted that the movie grossed 750k dollars in just three days but later it is struggling to add more.
The movie now needs to draw heavy crowds on Saturday and Sunday to join the one-dollars mark. Nani’s recent hit was ‘Gentleman’ that grossed $908k. His biggest hit in USA was ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ that grossed whopping $1.42 million.
On the other hand, the new releases ‘Singam 3’ and ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ too have showed dismal figures on opening day.
