The Karnataka Assembly election results have been released. The ruling BJP suffered a humiliating defeat as the Congress party won more than 130 seats. The Congress Party is poised to form a government on its own. The BJP was soundly defeated.
A couple of Tollywood celebrities campaigned in the Karnataka Assembly elections.
Veteran comedian Brahmanandam campaigned for BJP candidate in Chikkaballapur constituency in Karnataka. Dr. K. Sudhakar, the health minister, was canvassed by Brahmanandam, but the minister was defeated. Pradeep Eshwar, the Congress candidate, won the seat by a huge margin.
That means no one cared about Brahmanandam’s campaign in Chikkaballapur. Brahmanandam’s image suffered as a result of his campaigning.
