Niharika Konidela has tasted failure for the third time. That too in a row. Her first two films titled ‘Oka Manasu’ and ‘Happy Wedding’ were disasters. The third one, ‘Suryakantam’, was released on Friday.
The rom-com was slammed by critics. The ‘word of mouth’ factor, too, is missing. The fact that ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ released on the same day in Telangana, made her film a non-starter in many segments in Nizam.
As such, the much-hyped Mega Princess has disappointed again at the Box-Office.
Leaving aside the reasons for the failure of ‘Suryakantam’, it has been proven repeatedly that the girl’s judgment is very poor as far as scripts are concerned. Despite all the hungama, ‘Suryakantam’ has witnessed almost nil openings.
The writing on the wall is clear. Niharika was received well as a TV host but nobody seems to evince interest to watch her as a lead actress on silver screen. She lacks craze. Can she script a turnaround in the future? Let’s see!
