NTR would’ve suited for Gadar 2: Anil Sharma

‘Gadar 2’ has already broken box office records in India. The Sunny Deol starrer is still playing in theaters. The film is sequel to the 2001 blockbuster ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha’.

Tara Singh was played by Sunny Deol in both films. In an interview, director Anil Sharma stated that if the film was made with new and young stars of Indian cinema, only Jr NTR could do justice to the role of Tara Singh.

“There is no one in the Bombay industry who can play Tara Singh among the young stars. Actors like Jr NTR are a good choice in the south,” he says.

After the success of “RRR,” NTR Jr’s stature and popularity in the Hindi film industry have grown rapidly. He has already landed one of the leads in “War 2,” starring Hrithik Roshan.
