Official: Ranveer Singh – Prasanth Varma’s film shelved

The film starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Prasanth Varma is no longer going to be made. On May 21st, telugucinema.com reported that Ranveer Singh had decided not to go with Prasanth Varma’s script due to creative differences between them.

However, Prasanth Varma’s public relations team denied the reports, stating that the film would be launched soon. But Mythri Movie Makers, the production house, confirmed today that the film “Rakshash” will not be produced. An official statement was released.

Ranveer Singh and Mythri Movie Makers clarified in official statements that “this is not the ideal time for this project.”

Ranveer Singh said, “Hopefully, we will collaborate on something exciting in the future.”

Now, Prasanth Varma must concentrate on “Jai Hanuman,” the sequel to his smash hit “Hanu Man.”
