Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a rare public appearance at the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. The actress, who has been keeping a low profile in recent months, attended the event alongside other dignitaries. Before taking the stage, she greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi by touching his feet.
During her speech at the event, Aishwarya spoke about unity and harmony, choosing to highlight the values promoted by Sathya Sai Baba.
In her words, “There is only one caste, the caste of humanity. There is only one religion, the religion of love. There is only one language, the language of the heart, and there is only one God, and he is omnipresent.”
Her brief but impactful address resonated strongly with the audience at the gathering.
