Director Praveen Kandregula, who made his debut with the OTT film “Cinema Bandi,” has directed his second film, “Paradha,” which stars Anupama Parameswaran.
Darshana Rajendran, a Malayalam actress, and Sangitha, a senior actress, both play important roles. Dulquer Salmaan released the film’s teaser today.
The teaser begins with a voiceover that introduces the protagonist, Subbu, performed by Anupama Parameswaran. According to the narrator, Subbu travels a long distance and pays a whopping 70 lakhs to end her life. As the teaser progresses, it reveals the village’s ancient customs and superstitions, such as women covering their faces and the terrifying practice of Sati. The teaser is intriguing. The subject piques interest.
Gopi Sundar has provided the music. Ananda Media is producing the film, which will be released in Telugu and Malayalam languages.
