It has happened. “Pathaan” has now surpassed “Baahubali 2” as the second highest grossing Indian film in the United States. On Monday, the film surpassed RRR’s lifetime earnings of $14.3 million.
Siddharth Anand directed this actioner starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The film will bring in more money. Although the film’s content is quite ordinary, audiences appreciated Shah Rukh Khan’s charismatic acting, Salman Khan’s cameo appearance, Deepika Padukone’s presence, and Siddharth Anand’s bang action.
According to trade analysts, “Pathaan” may not surpass “Baahubali 2” in terms of overall revenue but it might become biggest hit in terms of ticket sales in the United States. “Baahubali 2” grossed $20 million, but the number of people who saw it was much lower.
