Pawan Kalyan’s personality rights: Delhi HC responds to his plea

After NTR recently approached the Delhi High Court seeking removal of abusive content and protection of his personality rights, Pawan Kalyan has now taken a similar step.
Earlier, actors such as Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna had also secured court orders on these grounds.
Pawan Kalyan, popular actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, filed a personality rights suit, alleging that various entities on social media and e-commerce platforms have been using his photos, videos, name, and likeness for commercial purposes without authorization.
The Delhi High Court has directed him to submit details of the infringing links within two days. Intermediaries have been instructed to take necessary action within a week.
The matter is scheduled for the next hearing on December 22.
Pawan Kalyan recently scored a hit with “OG”, a gangster drama. He will next be seen in “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” and the film’s first single will be out later this month.
